Deployment Technician I
Summary: Responsible for following the directions of the Lead Technician while on a customer site, exhibiting professionalism and attention to detail, has the basic understanding of configuring, installing, troubleshooting and repairing desktop, network and systems infrastructure solutions for the end user by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Has strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities to keep track of multiple tasks.* 2. Good written/verbal communication skills, critical thinking and problem solving or troubleshooting skills.* 3. Configures, installs, troubleshoots and repairs desktop, network and systems infrastructure solutions for end users.* 4. Meets the billable/chargeable targets set by the company.* 5. Provides deployment and logistical support.* 6. Travels to Customer sites as needed* 7. Diagnosis, repairs (break/fix) and quality control.* 8. Assembles, configures and installs equipment (desktop computers, laptops, monitors, printers, etc.).* 9. Strong client service skills.* 10. Is team player, yet work well independently.* *Essential Function 11. End point configurations, imaging, asset tagging, laser engraving, staging etc* 12. Provides logistical support for shipping and delivery to local region. 13. Loads/unloads product/equipment. 14. Inventories/audits/stocks/ships/receives. 15. Warehouse duties (cleaning, sweeping, organization etc.) Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. S.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specialized Training: Entry level desktop technical support experience. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Tablet Repair Technician I
Summary: The role of the Technician 1, Tablet Repairs is to support the analysis and repair of high volumes of android tablet computers and requires the ability to prioritize tasks, proactively identify and address issues, and exercise clear communication.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Responsibilities •Performing analysis on computer tablets, assess functionality, replace components as needed and maintain repair records. •Perform CTP screen and battery replacements. •Perform board level component replacement, i.e., auxiliary and USB jacks which requires soldering. •Ability to disassemble, work with small, delicate components and reassemble correctly. •Provide recommendation for problem resolution. •Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate, timely and cost-effective repairs. •Be organized, thorough and accurate while diagnosing and repairing tablets. •Ability to work independently and with a team. •Have a great attitude with a willingness to learn. Qualifications •Repair experience (Computer, Tablet, Cell phone, etc.) •Soldering skills preferred •High School Diploma or GED required. •Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills •Must have a positive, can-do, team-oriented attitude. •Ability to work with minimal supervision. •Self-motivated. •Basic computer skills, MS Office suite a plus.
